Crack Injection

Paladin offers a new series of construction chemicals for application in dry as well as underwater crack injection to prevent leaks and avoid threat to durability.
PHENALKAMINE TECHNOLOGY

Phenalkamine technology developed for crack injection application offers all advantages associated with cardanol such as excellent bond strength and good chemical and water resistance. Additionally, it provides with fast cure even at low temperatures.

In practice, a cleaned surface of the concrete alongside the crack is injected with resin under pressure either via inlet ports mounted over the crack or via holes drilled to intersect the crack. Paladin products when cured with epoxy resins provide fast cure, workable pot life and excellent adhesion. It should be noted that injection should not be used for reinforcement of cracks that are the result of corrosion.

Paladin’s diluents when incorporated in epoxy systems can facilitate and achieve low mixing viscosity, good flow in crack, increased pot life and solvent-free system, without compromising on final performance properties.
