Paladin offers PCAT – 1030, a Lewis base catalyst that is an excellent accelerator for epoxy curing reactions. It is low in color and viscosity which allows for its seamless incorporation in formulations. It can also be employed in isocyanate-polyol reactions and isocyanate trimerization reactions.
Chemically denoted as 2,4,6-tris dimethylaminomethyl phenol, PCAT- 1030 contains tertiary amine groups that boost the rate of crosslinking of the system.
This extremely versatile catalyst can be used as both, a curing agent as well as an activator in combination with other curing agents such as polysulphides, polymercaptans, aliphatic/ cyclo-aliphatic amines, polyamides, amidoamines, dicyandiamides and anhydrides.
